When in line, keep to your spot. 

At Megamall's Globe Business Center, I was in the queue for customer service to look into my issue.  That day, I was restless, having a bomber stomach so I could not stand still.  

Luckily the lady in front of me left, and this cut short my wait.  Unluckily though there was a grumpy, brusque-looking guy next in line to me. 

I asked permission from the guard to hold my spot, and I'd just be walking around within a 2 meter circle.  I did 3 circles, returned but the bald, brusque-looking guy wanted me to get behind him.  

He wasn't happy that I took the same spot.  He was unkind to me even as he heard me asking permission from the guard, "we all lined up here in order."   Mean, mean bald guy.

As I waited my turn, my stomach began to grumble.  I knew what was coming next.  I let go the loudest and biggest fart in my life, hoping it smelled too.  

Oh, what a glorious day! 

 

On the Fly

With great brands, comes greater responsibility. 

Restaurants, coffee shops, and bars serve customers food and drinks that have earned top-of-mind recall to many.  I, for instance,  would order Caesar's Salad for my main course or any soup (seafood chowder, if any) and for dessert, carrot cake and piping hot coffee.  

At Venice Mall in Taguig yesterday, I ordered Caesar's Salad at this Cafe.  After saying "grace" I dug into the huge pile of romaine lettuce.  Lo and behold, a fly! 

I tried to swat the indulgent fly with my palm, obviously I wasn't fast enough.  Those floating cute candles didn't help any.  Maybe the grated cheese was a "come on over" scent to the fly. 

Classic Ensaymada for dessert, I left in a huff.
