Had my eyes checked at Medical City for suspected glaucoma, something that my eye specialist has been monitoring for the last 3-4 years. Going home in a cab, I caught the driver looking me over from the rear view mirror. As it always starts in any small talk: "ma'm siguro ho noon dalaga pa kayo..." I already knew what's next, either he was going to ask me if I'm single or where my husband is if married. But this time around, "Ang ganda ho ng mga mata niyo, parang Barbie Doll."
I let out a guffaw and thanked the Lord. YOU HAVE A FUNNY WAY OF TEASING ME.
